Random itemized blathering follows:
1. I received in the mail today a belt for a 38" waist and my
experimental pair of 38"x30" LL Bean Classic Fit jeans. They both
fit. (Actually, the belt was getting close to being a necessity.)
2. I am moving before the end of the month. Because of this I know
that I own five 1.5'x1'x1' boxes of fiction.
3. It is raining, and it looks like it will continue to do so for
some time. I think we've been having the sort of weather this year
that got this part of the world named New England.
4. I still have yet to see either the Hitchhiker's movie or the
latest Lucas amputation-fest. I think this is because I haven't quite
managed to psyche myself up to going to see movies alone. (Ok, the
fact that I don't really have time might also have something to do
with it.)
5. I expect to have a bunch more of my pictures posted in the near
future, including some sort of feed page, the eventual form of which
is still to be determined. Should I have a picture of myself on this
page anywhere? Many blogs have an unflattering picture of their
proprietor somewhere on the page...
6. Not that this is much of a blog, given the paucity of my linking. Must
link to something... maybe later.

This is a still from one of my favorite movies:
I especially like the "World Targets in Megadeaths" notebook.
(Grabbed from an Accordion Guy posting, just because I like it)

Except it's not, because the pictures are going to take a while to get
from Concord to Somerville. But anyway, welcome to the new home of
1ts.org, which I cleverly never took a picture of (since I'm thinking
about pictures). And there's a whole bunch of stuff still running on
the old machine (which is long, long overdue for some
letting-go-with-both-hands style reconfiguration, which is part of
what motivated this).
Oh, and I made bleat use postgres instead of mysql. :->

I let myself get further roped into Yeomen, and am playing the
Headsman (well, more of a set dressing than a role) this weekend (and
possibly next Friday.) There's a jiujutsu test in two weeks which I
am very much not ready for (Yeomen caused me to miss a bunch of
classes), and there's always work. Work, work, work. I suppose I
bring this on myself with my nonexistent time management (I'm trying
to get better!) and busy schedule. I am running about two days behind
everything that isn't associated with a place and time I need to be.
